Senior Equipment Technician

Description

 SUMMARY: Responsible for performing preventive maintenance and major repairs on all material handling equipment. Will be required to make decisions on equipment status in support of the daily operational needs.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Above average experience with wire guided material handling equipment repair 
  • Above average knowledge of hydraulic systems component repair
  • Above average electrical / electronic controls repair experience
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical / electronic schematics
  • Facility maintenance as required
  • Basic industrial electrical knowledge 120/208 to 277/480 3 phase voltages
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Other duties as assigned
 
ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Must fill in for other maintenance staff as needed.
  • May be asked to research project materials to include price quotes and purchase order generation.
  • Must be able to work flexible, rotating schedule.

  • Must obtain Equipment Certification through company training.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree in related discipline preferred or equivalent of 4 to 8 years of documented specific experience .
